Naproxen Carisoprodol (Naxadol) is a muscle relaxant with anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

Naproxen is a derivative of Naphthyl Propionic acid and belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Its main effects are antipyretic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory. Its mechanism of action is associated with the inhibition of the COX enzyme.

Carisoprodol is a central skeletal muscle myorelaxant that does not relax skeletal muscles directly. The metabolite of Carisoprodol, Meprobamate, has sedative and anxiolytic effects.

In some cases, the speed of psychomotor reactions slows down. A person may complain of headache (it may be squeezing, seizure-like, or stabbing). Some patients become drowsy. Concentration and performance may decrease. Much more rarely, there is a slight decrease in hearing, which is accompanied by tinnitus.

People with a history of allergies (not only drug allergies) are at risk of urticaria: the rash disappears after 30-40 minutes. Rarely, allergic people develop Quincke's edema – a sharp, acute reaction, accompanied by swelling of the eyes and (which is especially dangerous) the larynx.
