Disebsin Terfamex Phentermine

What is Terfamex?

Terfamex is a stimulant with the active ingredient Phentermine similar to Amphetamine. Phentermine, unlike Amphetamine, does not cause a strong feeling of euphoria and for this reason, is approved in some countries as a drug for the treatment of obesity. Terfamex pills suppress appetite by affecting the central nervous system. The drug shows the same activity regarding weight loss both when used continuously daily and when prescribed in short courses. Thus, the weight loss is from 5 to 15% of the initial weight loss in 60% of patients.

Indications for use

Terfamex (Phentermine) is indicated for the treatment of obesity and weight maintenance only as part of a complex therapy involving lifestyle changes, including dietary restrictions and physical activity. The duration of therapy may not be long and is limited to a few weeks. It is indicated for patients with the following body mass index:

  • for patients without comorbidities with a BMI of at least 30 kg/m2;
  • for patients with risk factors at a BMI of at least 27 kg/m2.

Terfamex 30 mg refers to appetite suppressants, namely to anorectics. With prolonged treatment, the patient may develop chronic intoxication with anorectics, which is manifested by severe dermatoses, a pronounced form of insomnia, irritability, hyperactivity, and personality changes.

The most severe manifestation is psychosis, which is often clinically indistinguishable from schizophrenia.

How does Terfamex work?

Terfamex Mexico belongs to a class of drugs called anorectics, also known as appetite suppressants.

Taking Phentermine helps suppress appetite, thereby limiting the number of calories consumed. As a result, body weight decreases.

The drug acts by increasing the level of neurotransmitters in the brain. Neurotransmitters are chemical mediators including, noradrenaline, serotonin, and dopamine. When the levels of these three chemicals increase, hunger decreases. However, a tolerance to the appetite-suppressing effects of Phentermine may occur for several weeks. In this case, do not increase the dose of the drug, but stop using it completely.

What is more effective Terfamex or Redotex for weight loss?

Before using either of these two drugs, secondary causes of obesity, that is, hormonal and metabolic disorders must be excluded because in these cases, the use of these drugs will be ineffective. Treatment should be under the supervision of a doctor, and it is important to change the previous lifestyle: exercise and improvement of the content and quality of nutrition.

Terfamex is a drug that includes Phentermine, a substance that serves to reduce appetite. Redotex is a medication that includes Ephedrine, Triiodothyronine, Atropine, Aloin, and Diazepam. This drug is also used to reduce appetite.

Redotex is banned in some countries because it is considered unsafe. It should not be taken for more than 6 months because of side effects:

  • nervousness;
  • insomnia;
  • fatigue;
  • sensitivity to light;
  • palpitations;
  • urinary retention.

You should not drive or engage in activities that require attention or concentration.

Neither of these medicines should be used during pregnancy or while you are breastfeeding. You should not drink alcohol while taking these two medicines.

Do not use Terfamex diet pills if you have taken MAO inhibitors within the last 14 days. This group of drugs can increase the side effects of Terfamex. MAO inhibitors include: Isocarboxazid, Linezolid, Phenelzine, Rasagiline, Selegiline, and Tranylcypromine, among others.

Do not take Terfamex 30 mg if you have allergies or comorbidities:

  • Chronic heart disease (heart rhythm problems, congestive heart failure, stroke);
  • High or uncontrolled blood pressure;
  • Thyroid hyperthyroidism;
  • Glaucoma;
  • If you are in an agitated state or have recently experienced a stressful situation;
  • If you have previously abused drugs or alcohol;
  • If you are allergic to other diet pills (amphetamines, stimulants).

Taking Terfamex pills with other diet drugs, such as Fenfluramine (Phen-Phen) or Dexfenfluramine (Redux), can cause a rare fatal lung disorder called pulmonary hypertension.

To avoid side effects, tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure; diabetes; kidney disease; thyroid disorders.

Do not stop taking Terfamex abruptly, as withdrawal may occur. Ask your doctor how to stop treatment safely.

How to take Terfamex?

Take the medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Follow all the instructions on the prescription. Terfamex diet pills are taken orally at 15, 30, or 37.5 mg per day. Do not take the drug in larger or smaller amounts or longer than recommended.

Take on an empty stomach before breakfast or within 2 hours of eating. To prevent sleep problems, take this medication early in the day, no later than 6:00 p.m.

Tell your doctor if you feel hungry or if you think the medicine is not working properly. Increasing the dosage will not make the medicine more effective and may cause serious, life-threatening side effects.
