Symptoms that require medication also include decreased appetite and dramatic fluctuations in body weight, suicidal ideation, and somatic disorders. Anxiolytic medication is needed to treat somatic disorders, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, panic attacks, and various phobias.
Tafil 0.5 mg is taken 2-3 times a day, and the intake does not depend on dieting. The dosage is individual and adjusted to the patient's condition, determined only after a comprehensive examination by a doctor. The indicated standard dosage of 0.5 mg may be reduced to 0.25 mg if the patient's condition requires it. This dose is also used to treat elderly patients. The maximum increase in a single dose reaches 0.75 mg and is possible only if the patient tolerates the drug well.
Tafil medicine is used to treat acute panic attacks. In such a case, 3-6 days of treatment may be sufficient to achieve the desired effect. The maximum duration of treatment is 3 months, but the dose must be gradually reduced over a period of 2 weeks to avoid withdrawal syndrome. The symptoms of overdose include drowsiness, confusion, and impaired coordination of movements. The worst manifestation of overdose is a coma, so the deterioration of the condition should be reacted to immediately, as soon as mild symptoms appear. If the patient's condition worsens severely, it is necessary to seek medical help immediately.
To treat the manifestations of overdose, there are no specific drugs that can quickly neutralize the negative effects of the substance. Therefore, the first thing to do is to flush the stomach and drink sorbents. The first medical aid will prevent severe consequences and reduce the manifestations of the reaction. You should also monitor the patient until recovery. Refuse further treatment with a tranquilizer of this particular type.
